Revi has over 27 years experience in the Zoo business. Revi is an experienced field manager; able to handle any and all animal care, management and training requirements for a multitude of species, he has had the responsibility to be in charge for more than 2 decades with the Singapore Zoo.
A good part of his career, Revi was the head of section and supervisor for the Singapore Zoo’s orangutan colony. He was part of the team of senior animal care managers who managed the most extensive interactive program with these apes available at that time. This included training and handling a group of 30 orangs, ranging from infants to adults over 40 years; in addition to managing them as the largest social group of orangs ever displayed in captivity. Many of these apes were also trained for animal shows, presentations in addition to a wide range of medical routines and behaviors to aid their care and management.
Revi was also the asst manager for the Animal Presentations department, which managed over 6 presentations with 30 staff of presenters, and trainers at 4 separate show venues at the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari.
